Newman Machinga
Managing Partner
Newman is a trailblazer and business strategist who possesses distinct knowledge and experience in architecture and construction project management. He began his career as a junior architect and he served under the mentorship of senior architects and engineers. Prior to joining Vital Building Contractors, he demonstrated exceptional capabilities through executing and delivering complex projects across a broad range of industries for more than 25 years. Newman holds a Bachelor of Arts Honors Degree in Business Management and Entrepreneurship from Chinhoyi University of Technology, Higher National Diploma in Architectural Design Technology from Harare Polytechnic, Diploma in Project Management from the Zimbabwe Institute of Management and Certificates in Civil and Construction Project Management.
Elinorah Machinga
Executive Director
Elinorah is a professional development consultant and business leader who possess an indomitable penchant for winning in all spheres of life. She had an illustrious career in the field of education and development work for 10 years. Upon retirement, she joined Econet where she held executives roles including training manager, project manager and regional manager for a decade. Elinorah earned a Masters Degree in Development Studies from Women University in Africa, Bachelors Degree in English and Communication from Zimbabwe Open University, Diploma in Education and Development Studies and a Certificate in Project Planning and Management from the University of Zimbabwe among other qualifications.
Brian Sakunda
Project Manager
Brian served in the Ministry of Local Government and Public Works as an engineer before he progressed his career to South Africa and Rwanda. He brings an extensive knowledge and experience of twelve years working on civil and structural engineering projects. Brian holds a Master Degree in Civil and Construction Engineering from the University of Manchester in UK and a Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Zimbabwe.
Tawanda Paza
Contracts Manager
Tawanda is a seasoned construction professional with an excellent track record of managing construction teams and delivering large- scale projects. His career spans over twenty years in the built environment and he possess exceptional project management skills and unrelenting hunger for projects success. He is involved in all aspects of construction projects from works procurement, contract administration, investor partnership to deal negotiations and evaluation.
Rumbidzai Kanyowa
Business Development Manager
Rumbidzai holds an Honors Degree in Business Management from Africa University, graduate diploma from the Institute of Marketing Management and another Diploma in digital marketing. With over 3 years in business development, Rumbidzai is game changer who has led strategies and teams in business turnaround and transformation.
Prisca Gaza
Quantity Surveyor
Prisca served in the capacity of estimator and contracts manager with different construction firms. Her career spans over 8 years in the built environment and she comes with marked exposure to both contracting and consultancy. Prisca is involved in all aspects of bills of quantity, works procurement and contracts administration.
